- It seems like Waziyatawin (author of What Does Justice Look Like?) is trying to get us to accept a religious version of Dakota history over a scientific version? How can we question scientific fact?
- Why were the Dakota not allowed to keep their own history? Why would European settlers and scientists be interested in contradicting Dakota versions of their history?
- What was the point of the U.S. even making treaties with the Dakota if they were going to move them anyway?
